Evermore is the world this lab is built to grow: a small stone-age civilization that lives on its own.
Its inhabitants aren’t characters I animate — they’re agents driven by needs, deciding for themselves where to hunt, when to rest, what to build. From a few simple, overlapping systems, I’m hoping something larger emerges: settlements, paths, conflict, the first faint shape of a society. None of it designed, all of it grown.
What follows is the log of that attempt, kept as honestly as I can. Each entry starts with a question I can’t yet answer, the approach I chose, what I expected, and what actually happened — failures written down with the same care as successes.
